Spanish Seafarer’s Visa Checklist
- Schengen Application form
- Copy of Passport /ID (certified)
- 1 recent colour ID photos (write your name behind the photos)
- Travel insurance (minimum cover of 30.000 Euro)
- Proof of residence in SA – (certified/ affidavit)
- X3 Months of personal bank statements
- Copy of stamped and signed employment contract
- Boat registration papers
- SAMSA/ENG1 Medical (certified copy)
- Vessel itinerary
- Port Letter (official letter signed by the Spanish Port Captain with the port stamp confirming where the ship/vessel/ cruise liner is or will be docked in Spain. This document MUST be included. Please note that this letter must come from the Port and not from the MARINA where the vessel is currently docked.
